FOOD BANK

Essential Groceries to Community Members

Food Bank is for Anyone Experiencing Food Insecurity

It’s hard to imagine what it’s like to have to turn to a food bank, soup kitchen or school meal program in order to have a meal. But for many Canadians, this is a reality they face day in and day out.

According to Food Banks Canada, each month, over 1.3 million people turn to food banks for help and more than one-third are children and youth.

The Salvation Army Food Bank helps anyone who finds themselves in crisis! Families, singles and anyone who finds themselves in a situation that has made food security a challenge; we are here to assist through the crisis.
