The Salvation Army has long been a pillar in the communities in which they operate. Grounded on the values of Hope, Service, Dignity & Stewardship, TSA has built a reputation on serving those who need it most and, for the most part, doing it well. We provide hope and support to vulnerable people in 400 communities across Canada and in 134 countries worldwide. The Salvation Army has been operating in Prince George, BC since 1921 and over these past 100+ years, we have offered a number of different services. At one time we were a shelter, at another time, a soup kitchen. Currently we operate the main Food Bank in the City serving over 4500 each month and offer many other services (these will be showcased on another post sometime in the near future)! We are proud of our heritage and our humble beginnings and hope that we do well in continuing this legacy.
