Thank you to the following community partners that participated and helped organize the City Wide Food Drive, ( the River 101.3. SignTek Industries, Wood Wheaton Super Centre, and Save-On-Foods). The food drive was a huge success! The community came together and donated 4000 lbs. of non-perishable food items, and $10, 000.00 in cash donations. The Salvation Army food bank has seen an increase of demand this year. The food bank has served 954 households in the month of December. That translates into 2,547 mouth fed. This equates to 46, 000 pounds of food being distributed, and 11, 000 pounds of food food being distributed to our service providers that also support the community.
