Phil Kushniuk is a resident of Ryley, Alberta privileged to work for SA Energy on the LNG pipeline being constructed to connect to the coastline. He has been working in the Province these past months and wanted to give back to the region that has been so good to him and so has elected to support the work of The Salvation Army in Prince George. His support, a donation of $6000.00 to help the charity meet its goals of providing its Christmas hope to the most vulnerable families in Prince George. “The pipeline has been the cause of lots of talk in the region. I wanted to show that as a pipeline worker, I care about the community,” says Kushniruk. “I’ve purchased $5000.00 in gift cards from Canadian Tire and $1000.00 in gift cards from Save-On-Foods so that The Salvation Army can share that care for the hurting families of Prince George – and I want to challenge my fellow pipeline workers to meet or beat my donation.”
